Master of Science in Diplomatic and International Studies

The Master's program aims at training students - both in theory and in practice - to meet the challenges posed by the complexities of international relations and diplomacy today. This prepares them to perform the tasks required in both middle and top management in international/European institutions and organizations, multinational firms and NGOs. On the basis of the intercultural and linguistic competencies acquired during their studies, graduates are expected to have a high degree of flexibility in the world of work, both in their approach to tasks and in their adaptability to different cultural environments inside and outside Austria. The Master's program is open to graduates holding Bachelor degrees in the humanities and social sciences. But equally, students who have graduated with degrees in other areas - the natural sciences or technical subjects - and who desire to develop competencies needed for a career in international organizations are also welcome to apply.
